It lets you view XnView directly from the Windows contextual menu.

Few can doubt that XnView is an excellent graphics viewer full of retouching functions that make it complete and interesting. But, to make it even more useful, the authors have created XnView Shell Extension so you can run it directly form the Windows contextual menu.

Now, with XnView Shell Extension you can rapidly activate it by right clicking on any image you want to edit and do one of the following actions: preview, edit, print, resize, copy to clipboard, convert to another graphic format (GIF, BMP, JPG, PNG, etc), generate thumbnail galleries, use as a desktop wallpaper, edit the image`s IPTC, block it so no-one can access it, upload it directly to the ImageShack website, etc.
